"We travel not to escape life, but for life not to escape us"

Born in Sydney I started in the travel industry on April Fools day 1986 and I have never looked back. This gave me the inspiration to go to places I only had ever dreamed about. I love the anticipation of planning and booking a trip with my family, excited for the new experiences we are about to share.

My Travel Career

I began my travel career in 1986 joining Sydney Travel Group (now a Flight centre) as a Junior Travel Consultant. I then moved into Consolidation with Jetset

Fares and Ticketing, and then onto Singapore Airlines in 1989 where I stayed for 7 years and had various job roles. It is here that I enjoyed learning fare construction 

and the back end of the Travel Industry. After starting a family, I then went back into Consolidation, and then onto Jetabroad Travel where I assisted in their Customer Support and Ticketing for 11 years. Feeling motivated to go back and work with the airlines, I then went onto Aviation Online who looked after a few airlines such as

Air Malta, Alitalia and LOT Polish Airline where I also had various job roles. Due to the pandemic I left the Travel Industry for a year, and now have

the opportunity to work with Emerald Travel in a retail environment. I am enjoying the challenge and the rewards of talking to people and helping organise their holidays

and also being part of such an awesome team at Emerald Travel.

White Christmas in Europe or USA, Safari in Africa, or a trip to South America.

Laughing, spending time with family and friends, reading, good food and wine, walking my dog Ralph, going to the beach and watching movies.
